Tracks and Trails

In 2020, Grafton Cycle Club's Bom Bom Mountain Biking Team were successful in applying for funding through the Clubs NSW community infrastructure grant program.  The club was awarded $126,000 to fulfil the project goals of making more tracks more sustainable and modernising some of the trail features.  The project aims to be completed in 2023. Bom Bom Mountain Biking has around 40kms of tracks and trails.

It takes a lot of work keeping the trails in good condition.  We rely on members and volunteers to achieve this.   We have regular working bees so if you'd like to lend a hand, details of future working bees are on our facebook page. Volunteers are central  to the continued success of Bom Bom. Its fun too!

Bom Bom has a series of trails which provide many options for riders. Our trails are designed to suit beginners through to more experienced riders. To keep riders safe, check out the mountain bikers code of conduct.

Weather conditions and work by Forestry NSW means that trail conditions are not always suitable for riding or racing and are sometimes closed. Trail conditions are updated regularly on Trailforks. We also post updates on our Facebook page to advise any changes trail conditions.

Trailforks is a community based map platform. We try to keep trail maps updated. Click on the Bom Bom State Forest link below and scroll through the map to see trails.
